Well, I'm thinking about doing some "reviews" of sorts of some homeschool curriculum I have experience with. There are so many options out there, it is hard to decide. Besides, I usually decide then change my mind anyhow. It has been incredibly helpful when other Mom's have let me look at their "stuff" so I don't have to decide blindly. I am very visual in that respect.
Yes, I think I will start in on that. Every week I will do one review on something educational and relating to homeschooling.

Hi I stumbled here from have faith will dream blog. I have had a hard time ripping myself from the computer. I have loved reading many of your entries about living simple, cooking and receiving gifts from the share shed your husband has found! I am very curious on more feedback of curriculum you use. I really need to find a good writing program for a very hesitant grade 6 boy who makes writing a huge chore in the home! I have 2 very eager girls that make homeschooling a breeze. What program do you use for math? What do you aim for most unschooling, classical, etc.
Hope to read more about your reviews.
Hello Momma to Four!
I have been thinking about your question and will address it ASAP. I am in the middle of rearranging my schooling/sewing/office room so my curriculum is scattered about. At the moment I'd suggest letting your son write about anything HE is interested in. I don't know what books he may like "hardy boys", "narnia"... give him a sentence or two to start off and get him to finish it. Imagination is usually good and easier to write about than fact for some... I will blog more soon, and so happy you are enjoying the blog! Blessings! Jo
Momma to four... can you email me? it is jolene thiessen at gmail dot com. I have a writing program that may work for you, but I don't know where abouts you are in BC.
Blessings,
Jo
