Miss N is teaching Miss R her crocheting technique

Some home learners met up and had an informal gathering to look at each others homemade projects and to inspire others with some new ones.  My girls were taught to chain crochet by some others and we in turn will be teaching them some basic knitting skills and how to make a rag quilt.  Some others may work on aprons or doll clothes, etc.  It was great fun having this great facility to meet in and enjoy uninterrupted time focusing on projects.  Thanks Mrs. C for bringing a snack to share and thanks to everyone who came~  I will email with another Friday morning date that we can have the building opened up for us again.  
We were truly inspired!
