God's bounty from the garden

Oh how I love this time of year when I can head out to the garden and come back with a meal for the family!  Everything is growing so big, so quickly that I am a little behind!

Enjoying eating what we can and trying not to worry about the rest too much.

My first pick from our strawberries!  Slightly more than an ice cream pail full!  WOW!  I'm busy cutting off all the strawberry runners so they will put energy into berries and not plants.  They are nothing like store bought berries I tell ya ~ so RED RED all the way through and JUICY too... even the girls were talking about that.

On a side note, I'm going to teach my teenager how to upload photos to photobucket so we can then upload them to blogger.  Then maybe I can do some catch up of our holiday, etc.  Right now it seems like I don't even have time to do anything properly ~ oh right, I still have rhubarb on the counter!  off I go ~
